I took photos of red roses during one of my kids sports games. Flowers are everywhere! In order to get the look I wanted with paint drips, I set up a photoshoot in my shoot of dripping red acrylic paint on faux roses. I was able to combine these references into the vision I had for this piece featuring velvety, brilliant roses.
I believe this is such a romantic piece! Red roses always conjure up images of passion and love.
