Gorgeous shades of lavender, magenta and dark violet color these beautiful tulips plucked from my garden. They are the same variety but each bloom had such a beautiful blend of colors with hints of pink and blue adding to the vibrant shades of purple.
Part of my Color Fill series, paint drips from the Heavens into the petals, painting them with captivating color and shapes. Some petals are left intentionally empty, only outlined with rough black paint. My series imagines how the florals are painted by God, giving those bright spots of color and delight in a world with muted, natural shades of green, blue and brown.
Flowers have always caught my attention and I wanted to paint them with delicate details and vibrant colors to really study their beauty.
